Sampling Resolution Setting - Quark

Note to self

"When creating PDFs, what the difference between downsample subsample. How do I get the highest compression without loosing too much clarity?"

"Subsample is when a pixel is chosen and the surrounding area is replaced with that same pixel. Fastest output - least clarity.

Downsampling when pixels in a sample area are replaced with the average pixel color. Medium output - medium clarity

Bicubic downsampling is a wighted average of the pixels. Slowest output - best clarity.

I would test these out... See which one works best for your needs."
