Black Hole Son - NPR

Listen to Black Hole Son
"We hear from a mother and her son. By age seven, he'd had heart failure and been diagnosed as bipolar. And then — after a period as the world's youngest Stephen Hawking fan — he got better." (15 minutes)
It's like a special needs toddler who lives in Silent Hill. It's amazing that a young mind could conjure up such graphics thoughts.

I will say the mom is a trooper. Her honesty is brutal, but not unrelatable or unreasonable given her situation.

  1. That boy was enlightened. He was able to bring to the surface something that lurks deep in the depths of the collective unconscious. This ugliness resides within us all and scares the shit out of us. It explains why most people on earth are DELUSIONAL and will never realize it. This aspect of self-awareness is embedded deep down in the subconscious. Now he has been psychically and chemically castrated. This was the saddest story of human ignorance I'd listened to in a long time. Looks like his IQ by far exceeded the average and that's scary to a lot of human beings.
