Blog Comment - Athiests

Atheists say "I BELIEVE" there is no God. Agnostics, on the other hand, are humble and thoughtful enough to say, "I WONDER IF God is real, or not." That stance is not a religion.
I once had a pastor who said, "Don't look at people, or your faith in God will fail, because people are all flawed, far from perfect, including those who are endeavoring to believe in and follow God. Instead, look for God, look to God."

It takes faith to believe in the absence of an afterlife just as it takes faith to believe in the existence of the afterlife. The only PROOF that exists is when it happens to us all and there will be no opportunity to document it for the living.
There exists only speculation by the living. Speculation is never fact.
So yay for athiests and yay for believers of what-have-you. I think it would be better to celebrate coexistance and love for your fellow humans no matter what they believe aslong as they abide by the Golden Rule.
